I took photos at the open house for Variable Media (NMD 205).
I’m not in the class, but I have the professor for two of my New Media classes, and some of my classmates’ work was on display. I’ve already had a few compliments from friends on the quality of my camera. In case you were wondering, I got it at the same store where Shakespeare got that pen. And yes, that makes me sound conceited. It’s a good point and a good line, though, so I’m saying it.
You can also see the photos on Flickr here.
Update: it now stops snowing/raining on the blog after 20 seconds. It was getting a little annoying.

Long as I remember
The rain been comin’ down.
Clouds of myst’ry pourin’
Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages,
Tryin’ to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder,
Who’ll stop the rain.

I went down Virginia, seekin’ shelter from the storm
something something something
Five-year plans and new deals, wrapped in golden chains,
And I wonder, still I wonder,
Whoooo’ll stop the raaa-aaain

Nice shots! I especially like the laughing shot, the surprised girl, the turtle, and the snaking insulation thing.
The third shot of the hanging wrapped dress form is kind of a crotch-shot XD

@Cheryl, that didn’t even occur to me. I was looking purely at the form, and didn’t really think of it as a person. I’ll ask the artist and see what she was going for, because I have no idea.
